“The host contacted us confirming they were not available to meet us due to travel, check in details were clear and easy to follow, unfortunately the outside cooking facility's had not been cleaned since the last guest so were unusable, the unit was clean and tidy but a kitchen sauce left in the unit had mould in the jar, this unfortunately soured our view and put us off eating at the unit. “Even though there was a man there when we arrived, he only confirmed where to find the lock box to get our key. The rooms were very small and the equipment was only adequate. The second day there was no hot water. I read the directions in the book and found the gas bottles to switch them over. The location is very rural, pretty but a long way to stores and restaurants. The driveway is quite narrow.”

“This is such a unique and beautiful cottage. The cottage is spacious, charming, and beautifully presented. All the extras the host provided (soft drinks, milk, coffee, bread, etc.) were a lovely touch and made the experience even more special. The nature walking trails and outdoor bath were highlights of our stay. The rustic, vintage vibe creates a wonderful atmosphere, and the fireplace adds a romantic touch. “We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a close drive to all the things we wanted to see in the area. The space is bright and the country views are amazing! We loved sipping our coffee in the mornings on the large patio outside. Great place for star gazing at night also! The beds were comfy, the bathroom heater was great and we also liked having the kitchen to cook some of our own meals in.
