“Great communication, easy check in and wonderful location just over the road from the pub which serves excellent food. Clean and tidy and very comfortable. Very well equipped. Host was lovely and very accommodating.”

Communication through routine attachments sent was good but slow or no response to individual questions asked via Expedia app compared to other hotels/ accommodations where response has been much better. “Expedia confirmed my booking and took payment. Around two hours later, the host cancelled because of “an error with the calendar” — for a stay that was due the very next day. That alone was bad enough, but the refund process made it worse. It took two days and three phone calls to Expedia to chase a proper refund, after the first refund shown was only partial. So I was left with no accommodation, wasted time, unnecessary stress, and then had to fight to get back the money I should never have……

“Lovely cottage in perfect location. Super Central, two minutes walk to the centre of Holt. Huge park of the back of the property, perfect for people travelling with dogs. Parking also a bonus. I have thoroughly enjoyed my staying and we’ll definitely book again.”

“Upon arrival, we were greeted by our lovely hosts Chris and Tina. Chris kindly showed us to our Valentina tent for our 3 day stay. The tent was beautifully appointed and had a super comfy bed. Our separate kitchen area had a basket of goodies, which we felt was such a personal touch. The llamas were amazing, roaming freely outside our tent. Tina gave an interesting talk about them, whilst we were able to feed them. Our stay was truly lovely and the sunsets, other wildlife were just the ‘icing on……

The chalet looked nice from the outside, but the inside left a lot to be desired. The biggest issue was the lack of central heating—our bedroom was freezing at night, which made it really hard to sleep.
