「A Stay!My husband and I had the best time! The owners are awesome and their property is a gem. I was wowed by their attention to detail—little touches that make for a great stay. The “chicken coop” is cozy and has lots of amenities. On top of that, the owners are excellent communicators and live on the property. 「I was very happy with the property. I shared the place with my adult children for a family wedding. It was wonderful to have some quality, screenfree, engaging time with them. We took full advantage of the games and cards provided. The bedding was sooo comfy that I came home and ordered the same pillows that were there. I would definitely add the fact that the water is “well water” to the listing so people know in advance to bring water. All in all a great experience.」

「The hose is really cute and decorated well, however we were put off by the smell of the water. My family refused to even wash with it. We had to go to the store for bottled water and shower at a friend's house. Also the bedding needed to be laundered. I emailed the owner about these problems and did not hear back.」

「We had a great time. The tent and toilet were clean. We appreciated the water provided and the cookware. The only thing to note is that there is a bit of walking on a rocky trail before reaching the campsite (not next to the parking spot). The river was fun to explore but can be difficult for younger kids to get to. The campsite is close to Minnewaska State Park, very convenient. 」

「I've stayed at a lot vacation rentals, and typically, the description oversells the property. That wasn't the case with this property. My wife and I only stayed for one night, but we wished the stay was longer!」

「Misleading listing. Apartment is 2 blocks from major freight train route which ran all through the night. Clearly a known noise issue with earplugs and white noise machines in the bedroom. Would have been better to know upfront this would interrupt sleep throughout the night. Backs onto a bar so band noises till 1am. Backyard is tired and not as presented.」
