The overall experience was very good. However, I stayed in a ground floor room, which was next to the parking lot. There was activity in the lot day and night, i.e. smokers, arguers (raised voice discussions), and drinkers. I do not think of myself as a prude, but next visit (if there is one) I will keep room location in mind.

Comfort Inn Clawson is in a great location, offers a warm breakfast and parking. Our room had a comfortable king size bed. Nothing fancy but neither is the price. A practical hotel.

Breakfast was not at the level of the hotel average, just waffle and bagel with cream cheese, the good thing that coffee was available all the time. Staff was friendly, location was good and has multiple options for shopping ( just a bit far from downtown)

While the room was very clean, I was surprised that there was no daily room service. Also, the doors slam loudly which actually woke me one night. I must say though, that the staff were superb. It's because of them that I gave this motel 4 out of 5 stars!
