"Bare bones, but perfectly adequate hotel if you just want a bed, a hot shower and a little TV (didn’t check the WIFI, but Verizon worked fine in the room anyway). Easy parking, friendly front desk person. I’d stay again. (Fridge and microwave were also handy). "

"This hotel was great! The lady at check in was super sweet. The A/C was nice and cold AND the fan ran all night (because I wanted it to). I’ve been in hotels and select “fan on” and it will cycle on and off all night, waking us each time in the process. This one didn’t do that. Thank God! The room was comfy and was well-equipped kitchen-wise. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the water pressure. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend. "
"My room was fine, clean but had some issues. One of the bedside lamps did not work. The refrigerator was loud. The a/c unit was even louder with a very bad vibrating racket. I had to turn off the unit to sleep.
The elevator was a bit dirty with grafitti on the inside door and cracked tiles on the floor.
The breakfast was toast, cereal, or pancakes. No juice, no bagels or muffins, no yogurt, no eggs, no bacon or sausage. Not good at all. It was basically starch on a paper plate."
"Room was comfortable. The breakfast was decent. The Mexican restaurant attached is AMAZING. No conditioner and body wash was super low. I’m sure I could have gotten more if I asked but it was not a big deal. I did ask for more towels and they were quickly accommodating. "
"Walden" Modern Cabin on 54 Riverfront Acres along Shenandoah River w/Hot Tub
10/10 Excellent
"Had a wonderful stay at the Walden. Found the cabin to be neat and clean. Check in process was simple with lock box and code provided just prior to arrival. The location feels secluded although there are neighbors you can’t see them and rarely hear them. The private spot on the river is perfect for fishing, floating and wading. Can’t wait to go back. "
