"Big Canoe in itself an overall top experience. Safe, peaceful and secure. Driving to "The Nest" scenic and nature laced. When we arrived to the location the surrounding area and view awaiting beat expectations. The cabin made for two was clean, had all that one needed, and the floor to glass windows allowed the view to be experienced from kitchen to bedroom. Though all above 5 star, the real star of this property was the outdoor decks. There is an upper and lower deck and both provided a view of the lake below in the valley with too many trees that filled the hills. The upper deck perfect to have dinner and an adult beverage and lower deck having a hot tub a great way to end the day or rather maybe inspire the night. Have stayed in many of these type of rentals and have enjoyed most but The Nest is one of the best, made for two and the only question is: Why not you? BTW: apologize for the appearance that Im writing an add but when I'm delivered more than expected I get carried away a bit. See photos and you will understand better my review. Enjoy"

"Our family had a great stay! The house is cozy and well-stocked. The beds were so comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well. The owners were so helpful before we arrived in helping us plan where to eat and what to do while we stayed, and during our stay, they were very responsive if we had any questions or concerns. "Absolutely one of the best Cabins/Houses we have stayed at in all the years of traveling! This place was very clean and welcoming! It was extremely quiet and safe! The trail access from the back was perfect for a daily hike. We did several of the trails and enjoyed the peacefulness of nature!! The restraunts around the area were great also and the Lowes food store had plenty of local options! We took a trip over to Helen, Ga and it was a short day trip which was a neat jaunt out of the community!! Would highly recommend this place and we hope to be coming back during the warmer months to see all the different activities offered then as well!!! Veronica was an absolute pleasure to work with and had some awesome suggestions. She never seemed bothered by any of our questions and always responded promptly!! You will not be disappointed in staying here!! "
