"Having booked last minute I hadn't realised I had booked an upstairs room as someone who uses crutches this was soon changed to a down stairs room , bed linen all clean, lovely white fluffy towels , toiletries , tea , coffee, milk etc . After a long drive and arriving at 8.30 pm ISH there was still plenty of spaces , yes there is a little noise from the main road but it didn't affect me too much. A continental breakfast was included there was various cereals, jugs of milk and orange juice, wrapped croissants, white and brown bread for toasting , jam and marmalade, maybe bring your own if you need gluten free or ask staff when booking , and a big urn to make hot drinks just enough to fill the gap. Both the ladies on duty in the evening and morning was welcoming and helpful . Will definitely stay there again."

"A very central hotel ideally positioned to see the sights and opposite the cathedral with nicely appointed rooms, even a bath in the room. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice on offer. Restaurant was also fun with a good range of dishes in a reasonably quiet ambiance. We enjoyed our stay."

"The Kings suite was amazing. The bed was so comfortable. The kitchenette was useful, as was the separate seating area. The bath in the bedroom was a delight. The candles in the room were a nice touch. The decor was classy. Overall we loved our stay. Thank you"
