"This home was compact, but very clean and had many thoughtful touches like well-placed night lights, a good bread knife, etc. The hosts checked in with us to be sure we had no problems and we were doing fine. The home is on a highway, so there is a bit road noise, but it is located so that neither Copper Harbor or Houghton seemed too far to go. The house book had some good recommendations for restaurants and we had a nice meal at Fitzgerald's. It was great to have the ability to do some laundry...

"Stella’s Hideaway is the best place we’ve stayed at in the UP. Our family has been coming up to the UP in the spring for the past 5 years and have stayed at numerous VRBO homes in various states. It feels very private, you have tons of space, the property is gorgeous, and it's an easy drive into town for meals in the evening or supplies. The sauna was a particular treat! We really enjoyed staying here and would absolutely stay again if we're ever back in the area!"
