I booked this place specifically for the hot tub that was infact listed under amenities. I texted the host to find out where the hot tub was located. He said he didnt understand. I told him the listing said there was a hot tub. He messaged me back and said it does say that but he doesn't know why because theyve never had a hot tub. He offered a $70 refund on a $500+ weekend. I booked this place for My daughter's dad & his girlfriend for the 1st 2 nights and the 3rd night for my daughter & her husband (just married that weekend). I didnt know a hot tub couldn't be found until the next day. I didnt message till Sunday morning because we were dealing with my daughter's wedding. I was upset because Sunday was that last day my daughter and new husband would be there as we live in Kansas. This was to be a 1st night as married couple for them and they were headed back to KS the next day. The host ask me how he could make this right. I asked him what he thought would be fair, the hot tub was the reason i chose this one. He never responded from that point. I waited until the next day to hear from him. Then called VRBO. They told me a hot tub wasnt listed. I knew it was no longer listed. And told them he took it off after i brought this to his Attention. They put me on hold. Called him and he told them that a hot tub was never listed. Now it has turned into an honesty issue for me. I have texts proving that he said it was imfact listed. VRBO wont do anything and neither will he.
