"Quiet, spaceous room which was very clean. The pub served delicious food and there is a fabulous little cafe next door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back when visiting family again. Exceptional value for money with a good breakfast included. Only slight niggle is that the pillows were thin and not supportive. One is not enough and two is too much. Perhaps they could invest in firmer support pillows and the score for this hidden gem would be 10/10."

"The room I stayed was good, if a little dated, the Restuarant, bar and lounge are very good, excellent and attentive staff, can’t fault them. Having free parking straight across the road in Bideford is a real bonus. The only downside is infront of the hotel, waste ground and metal fencing. "

Only slight negative for us was getting used to town noises as we live in a village.
