“We had an amazing stay here. The rooms were lovely and the beds very comfortable. We loved the suite with its living area and the breakfast was delicious. The hosts could not have done more. So friendly and helpful. They also had lots of games and toys and a garden which were great for the kids. ”

“The room is clean and comfortable, but the WiFi signal is very weak, and usually disconnected...
The hotel is very near to Harlech Castle, just 3 minute walking distance, but it also means that the hotel situates on the hill as well... So it is better call hotel come to rail station to pick you up....
Dinner and breakfast are delicious~~ ”

“Lovely stay in Y Capel. Check in really easy and parking onsite was fine. Room was absolutely lovely with a really comfy king bed and great bathroom. Breakfast was in the Erskine Arms and was really tasty. A fair few options on the hot menu and a choice of fruit, yogurts and cereal. We also ate in the pub in the evening and was a really nice meal.
One thing to note.... The church next door has a bell that chimes every 15 minutes as well as on the hour, all through the night. Our room……

“The slate is a lovely hotel ,cosy and comfortable .the reception is welcoming and clean and there's a lovely log burner in the bar that gives the plase an atmospheric smell.
Evening meal was really good and good value for the home cooked food we enjoyed .
Breakfast was really good and just started the day perfectly .
We recommend to anyone and we'd definitely stay again when visiting Wales .”

“Room smelled pungently of mildew. When I told the staff they said they’d have to do a better job of cleaning. We left several days ago and everything in my suitcase, including all my clothes, still have that mildew smell. Quiet setting. Large rooms but had no way to air out except for a tiny window 18x8 that partially opened. Luckily it was cool weather. Pub was cute and food including breakfast was good.”
