“It really was a beautiful and charming medieval property, but with all the modern comforts. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe. Being greeted by the smell of baking, every time I came back, was glorious! The bakery team were also, really friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

“Although the River was in flood this didn't stop our wonderful evening at the Hotel. The room was delightful. The restaurant out of this world - well it should be with 2 Michelin stars - and the staff we perfect. Except for one who was very grumpy when we arrived early for dinner by 20 minutes! But hey ho the other staff were all dlieghtful and efficient. A special place.”

“Tout était parfait jusqu'au petit déjeuner du dimanche matin... toutes les tables étaient encombrées, une file d'attente interminable devant la machine à café et le comptoir du buffet où il n'y avait plus d'oeuf (9h du matin) ni de croissants... Bref ! très pébible... Pourquoi ne disposez-vous pas le buffet au centre de la pièce, afin que chacun puisse touirner autour au lieu de poire”
