The hotel was very good, room and facilities as advertised, most staff members are very nice, and the property was clean in general. However, unlike most staff, the receptionist who checked us in didn't really show warm welcoming, she actually was a bit arrogant dictating orders rather than giving instructions. In addition, cleanliness of plates and utensils seems to be overlooked, we had to inspect and reject several forks, knives, and spoons until we get one that is acceptable to use with food.

Some aspects of the property were excellent but it is an old building and it shows. The towels in our unit looked a bit stained. We know they were clean but still! Overall, we thought it was a good place for the price. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly. We would go back again.

Great location with a fabulous view. So convenient for our Toronto adventure and just steps away from Massey Hall. Host interactions were smooth and communications were supportive and helpful. Will be looking forward to another stay down the road.
