Lakefront cottage near Acadia and Bar Harbor

10/10 Excellent

"Property exactly as described. Enjoyed the sunset from the dock and watched a storm roll in over the lake. Was able to visit both sides of the park easily as about in the middle. Property was clean and was able to walk the pups around the neighborhood. Would stay again!"

Genuine Farm experience! Barn loft on Organic Farm—rooster and chickens below!

8/10 Good

"The place was cute and mostly comfortable. As stated on farm above chicken coop. Being a host myself I found the lack of amenities makes it difficult to agree with price….no working hot water, shared shower in a different building, compost toilet in small low ceiling space. There was a good collection of dust/someone’s used sock under bed. Host was friendly and her friend who assisted was kind as well."

Welcoming 4 bed Loft on Organic Farm--Near MDI & Wilderness

10/10 Excellent

"We did not like having to leave. We would gladly stay here longer when we visit the area again. For us, the location was ideal for visiting Acadia and getting to groceries and general needs away from the NPS tourism area. This place is so cool, imaginative, and unique. It is a working farm with all the fun of life included at no extra cost. This is not a catered dude ranch style place. Becka is a wonderful person and host. She is accommodating and not intrusive at the same time. Thank you."

Pond House - Donnell's Pond in Franklin, Maine

10/10 Excellent

"Paula's Pond House provides the perfect balance of being tucked away in a quiet corner of a pond - for those total peace and quiet unplugging days - and a rather easy, scenic drive to MDI, Schoodic Peninsula, and all the surrounding towns for exploring, shopping, and dining. We arrived expecting to be in Acadia most of the trip, but in the end the kayaks, firepit, hammock, and overall warmth of the place kept us close and content a lot more than planned - and we're very thankful for it!"

Fall in Love with Maine-A Dog-Friendly Escape on Tunk Pond

10/10 Excellent

"The property was as expected. The kitchen has utensils that we were able to use. We were able to cook. The lake is beautiful. They were paddle board and kayak and life jackets available and we're able to utilize them. They were lots if blankets available, The cabin is very clean. We encounter tiny mishaps which the host were promt at responding when we reached out. We would recommend this cabin to anyone."

Enchanting 1-bedroom bungalow on Organic Farm— with WiFi!

10/10 Excellent

"The bungalow was exactly as described. If you are looking for simplistic without all the bells and whistles this is the perfect place. Very relaxing and peaceful. And the host was available with any questions I had. It was an amazing stay."

Taylor Camp on Tunk Lake Lakeside Log Cabin 4 Bedrooms - Sleeps 10

10/10 Excellent

"Truly a special piece of property on a stunning lake …… super private and remote location but with all the comforts of home including solid WiFi, TV with streaming services . Plenty of room for family and friends. Schoodic Point and Acadia in Bar Harbor are a must visit bring your phones and cameras! THX Jim!"
