“Was given a room towards the road - too noisy thru the day and in night the ac was noisy Requested for a room on other side but told none was available- which I don’t believe ”

“There aren’t very many options of places to stay while you’re in Murphy’s unless you want to go into Angels Camp or Arnold, but I do think that of the options available this one is a better option. The space was quite clean, large and spacious. We had everything we needed. It is a bit outdated. It’s nice that they give you the option of donuts or a breakfast burrito in the morning, nothing fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but it was nice. As far as the staff, we only encountered 2……

“The front desk service is excellent”

“This little cabin was perfect! You can see the main house from the driveway and front door, but with the direction of the home and an umbrella, you feel like you're all by yourself in the woods. There are some pups, but they were well behaved and didn't come around often. This is a great little cabin—perfect for a 2 person get-away—with all the amenities you will need. There was a coffee maker and tea, grill on the patio, and we were able to cook breakfast and dinner each day of our stay with……

“Room was excellent and owners, Lynn and Aaron, are the best. Highly recommend the place and dealing with them. They couldn't do enough to make our stay wonderful.”

“Desk Staff is beyond great. Only advice for them to pay attention to detail. Second visit. Same room 3 months apart. Missing bathroom fan conver. Cracked electrical inlet cover in entry. Seems small but i belive this could be a destination hotel because of location. The restaurant that is next door is also amazing. I was kinda caught off guard by how awesome this place was. BEST STAFF EVER. Food amazing. All said I give a %100 percent score.”

“Parking lot was huge and no one was in it this time of year; there were NO staff present at all - our room keys were in an envelope taped to the wall when we walked in the front. Also the bed frames need to be replaced. You could not move at ALL on the bed without horrible scraping and squeaking noise - we are talking just to SIT on the bed... Rooms were pleasant and view of the river was nice... even the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday so.... we saw NO ONE.”

“The breakfast was continental with some nice options. Everything was fresh and nicely laid out. The room was clean and quaint and I loved my balcony overlooking the bistro below. The staff was great and extremely welcoming. I felt like I made new friends in my short stay.”
