“The bed was a stack of foam pads that offered no support and constantly sucked me in to the middle of the bed, which had even less support. I think someone urinated in the air conditioning system, every time it cycled on the whole room stank of urine. I am sure we could have complained but it was late and we were tired. I am only writing this because when I went to notify the desk manager in the morning, I don’t think he could care less. I have been staying there multiple times a year for many,……

The breakfast is only a prepackaged Svenhard's Danish. No prepared coffee with breakfast so you have to make it yourself in the room with the small machine. Next time we go wine tasting in the area we'll be looking for something a little better.”

“Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room. Once I showed them my credit card statement they refunded the money……

“Pass key to the room we were originally assigned to did not work which required back and forth to the front desk and wasted time. There was no coffee in the room. Multiple things were broken. I escalated the issues with no response or help from anyone.”

“Appears to be short staffed...frequently sign at front check-in/desk rather than person. Proud of their old elevator...but floor of elevator frequently misaligns with room level floor making luggage cart useless. Access to our room was hindered by misaligned hardware - inside bolt and locking mechanism. Took a shoulder push to enter. Antiques abound. So if that is your thing...enjoy them. Parking is free...contrary to hotel reservation sites. Front desk issues paper parking pass for length of……
