「A very quirky, interesting, historical Hotel a short stroll from all the amenities that Swanage have to offer. Friendly helpful staff from start to finish, all very knowledgeable regarding the history of the hotel. 「Filthy carpets in desperate need of being replaced; decor is awful for such an expensive hotel, the dust was awful, hairs on towels, grime in the bath, broken toilet cystern button, expensive breakfast and poor quality food. Curtains missing hooks. Extractor fan in bathroom doesn’t do anything. There’s more negatives but this will do. Parking so close to the sea is the only positive and only reason I would return. 「Samen met mijn zoon voor 4 nachten gereserveerd om Tankfest 2026 en het tankmuseum in Bovington te bezoeken. Elke ochtend een typisch Engels ontbijt dat bereidt en geserveerd werd door de vriendelijke Keith en zijn vrouw. 's Avond was het bed opgemaakt en was er koffie op de kamer. Ondanks alle drukte van auto's een eigen parkeerplekje voor de deur van het verblijf. Een toptijd gehad en ondanks de zeer hete dagen een prima verblijf met goed werkende ventilator.」
