The hotel seems a little old There is a fan inside the room but no ac The outlet is hard to find which hides below the bedside table The toilet does not have enough space for legs since it is quite close to the wall Nothing remarkable to feel like a 4 star hotel

It’s ok for an overnight stay and value for money…but… ludicrous to say this is four-star. It’s barely two-star. Rooms very basic. The restaurant hasn’t been open for three years and hard to say whether or not the bar opens. You need orienteering skills to find the private car park. Good breakfast, though

Une seule nuit après un concert sur Lille. Hôtel très calme, petit déj très bien. Bémol sur la literie (un peu molle) et il faisait très chaud et pas de possibilité de ventiler. Rapport qualité prix très bon malgré tout 👍

Personnel à la réception très gentille et accueillante à notre arrivée La personne a l’accueil de nuit également très accueillante et agréable La personne du matin au petit dej et à l’accueil superbe très gentille accueillante serviable, à répondue à toutes nos demandes La chambre propre et salle de douche également chambre petite mais suffisant pour 1 nuit, très calme Par contre ds les communs une petite rénovation s’impose moquette sale et abîmée Mais cela ne m’a pas dérangé plus que ça car le personnel était top Petit dej suffisant et très copieux en plein centre de Douai Parking dispo gratuit mais difficile pour le trouver en pleine nuit

Ideal Town Centre Hotel

An ideal town centre location for a one night stay. We had two rooms, one standard and one executive and really there was little to choose between them, other than a little more space. Our rooms were on the second floor and it meant a two flight walk up, I'm not sure that there is a lift, perhaps in the other wing, so worth checking if stairs are an issue. Both had good shower rooms and we all slept well. A buffet breakfast was on offer and the receptionist offered to cook a choice of eggs for us all. This hotel used to have a notable restaurant but a change of ownership (and Covid) means that there is no longer an evening meal option. The hotel seemed very quiet for a Friday evening but it was mid March. The hotel has a private car park about 200m away but it looked more secure parking on the street directly in front of the hotel. We would be happy to stay again.

Chambre non conforme à un 4 étoiles - pas de climatisation ni ascenceur avec escaliers très etroits difficilement accessible avec une grosse valise - literie moyenne - plus de lumière au dessus du lavabo et une ampoule sur trois ne fonctionnant pas dans la chambre - odeur d'urine dans la salle de bain et chasse d'eau qui perd - retouches de peintures aléatoires et grosses traces de doigt sur les portes - megots de cigarettes par terre dans la chambre - malgré un très bon acceuil, nous deconseillons cet hotel
