「Needed a last minute place to stay, and this was clean and quiet, with attentive staff, though poorly maintained (eg old furniture stored in the hallway, bathroom exhaust did not work). The room had a huge hot tub in the corner with a wall mirror. Fantastic location, easy drive to downtown Zion and Illinois Beach State Park.」

「We booked two nights and enjoyed the hotel so much we stayed a third night. I very seldom give a perfect score to a hotel but this was well deserved. The staff were outstanding! The hotel was immaculate plus it was a “green” property. We highly recommend staying and enjoying the rooftop view of Lake Michigan……」

「For a 2 star hotel, this place was adequately comfortable for the low price. Other than wet towels on the rack and the building needing an update, the place was absolutely fine. Just remember, this is a 2 star hotel, not the Embassy Suites. Plus, the staff were very very friendly and I think that absolutely counts for something. This is why I gave the 4 star review.」
