「We loved it here!!! There is a very nice swimming beach with a giant lake and boat ramp in walking distance; we went swimming and watched the eclipse!!! Absolutely phenomenal view at the lake, and the kitchen was very, very convenient if you want to save money and not eat out for every meal. The owner responds to texts instantly, too!」

「The staff when checking in was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very dated, suited the purpose but could use an update. The breakfast was good, plenty of options which is certainly a good way to start your day or travel. The only issue I had was when I was loading my car I cut myself, a superficial cut but it still bled a little bit. When I asked the front desk if they had a Band-Aid the reply was "sorry we don't". You'd think a first aid kit...

「This property is a work in progress. It is in a beautiful area around Wappapello Lake and State forest. Our room was clean and comfortable. Restaurants were near and food was very good. Staff helpful. Would like to see the complex when totally renovated. Nice stay. 」
