"Parking can be a little tight if you have large vehicle. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was a couple different fruits and individually wrapped muffins with a couple types of drink options. Room was overall clean with a few spots that were overlooked or ignored. Water pressure is weak, but I have yet to find a motel/hotel that does have nice water pressure. The location is wonderful if you plan to visit Watki a Glen and/or Senica Lake."

"Spa is amazing with excellent staff. Would highly recommend everyone visit and have a relaxing day at the spa. However, the restaurants connected with the hotel are okay at best. The fine dining restaurant was okay & had decent food, yet nothing wowed me it really missed the mark for excellent food at a fine dining restaurant. The pub restaurant was good, anything with brisket is excellent but again some of the other choices are missing components that could make the food really good. I had the artichoke and shrimp salad and was looking forward to something different, but it was just blah, it needs a better dressing and maybe feta cheese or something else added to bring the salad together. Staff were excellent at the pub."

"We enjoyed our week at this property and had a wonderful family vacation. The location was excellent—centrally located for exploring the wine country and surrounding towns. The house was clean, spacious, and very well stocked for a large group. The kitchen had everything we needed, and there was plenty of room for everyone to gather comfortably.We stayed during one of the hottest weeks of the year, and having only one air conditioning unit in a four-story house made it difficult to keep the home comfortable. The attic bedroom was especially hot and essentially unusable. After we raised the issue, the owner told us additional AC units were supposed to have been installed before our arrival, but the handyman had not completed the work. Given the forecast, this should have been addressed before guests arrived.The well water was another concern. The filtration system appears to need maintenance, as the water had a strong sulfur odor. Signs above every sink recommended drinking bottled water, suggesting the owner was aware of the issue. We purchased a large amount of bottled water for the week because we were not comfortable drinking the tap water. This should be disclosed in the listing so guests can plan accordingly.Overall, the property has a lot to offer because of its location, cleanliness, and spacious layout. With adequate cooling and repairs to the filtration system, it would be an outstanding place to stay."
