Great vacation rental!

The townhome was a very well decorated home, set up to help anyone feel at home and comfortable. There was great support throughout the booking up to the time of departure from Vacasa, making the stay easy. Other than the Silverton train, which ran behind the townhome (very cool to see), it was quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable king bed upstairs as well!

Durango Hideaway

Lovely end-unit in a quiet, nature-filled setting. Although the kitchen was tiny, it was well-stocked with dishes, glasses, and utensils. Our bed was comfortable and the extra blankets in the closet were appreciated.

The property was clean and Kitchen appliances were new. The bathrooms and bedding need attention. There was no instructions for use of the fire place or television. Or any information in the home what so ever. All information was via text and I do believe all was chat bot.

Fantastic condo close to town

Our family loved our stay at this condo and wish we could have stayed longer. Both bedrooms were extremely comfortable, and we used both futons for our children. Both kids said that the futons were VERY comfortable. There was extra bedding tucked away in both bedrooms, the kitchen is stocked VERY well, and we had everything we needed for our stay. Our only complaints are very small. There are very little instructions on how to operate the tvs in the unit. We were able to figure it out, but my older parents with whom we traveled would have been stuck without us there. Explicit instructions would be wonderful. Additionally, the condo has no air. With how unseasonable hot it was, this was a disappointing find - but there were multiple fans in the unit, and with the cool mountain air at night, we were actually quite comfortable for our entire stay. We would happily stay here again - well done!

Spring Break - Family of 7

Good property overall. We were able to fit our family of 7 comfortably enough. We would rent this again in a pinch but would look for a larger place for all 7 of us. Even so, we would definitely rent this place again if our group was 4-5. Great rental space-wise for two couples or a family of 4.Very clean. Plenty of charming Colorado kitsch. We cooked dinner each night for 5 nights, and the kitchen was sufficient.Location of this property is excellent for those who want to split the difference between proximity to Purgatory and Durango. About 15-20min either way. Hot Springs (at Trimble) are about 5min.The Durango-Silverton train runs behind the property, which is totally cool. Property has 3 nice porches, 2 off the back, 1 in front.The reason for 4/5 rather than 5/5 is related to a few minor maintenance issues that the property manager should be able to remedy easily (these were inconvenient but not stay-spoiling, and they have been communicated to the property manager). Also, the listing emphasizes the fireplace, but there was no wood available for us to burn. Also, some hosts are very particular about what is burned in the fireplace (types of wood, kindling, etc.), and some charge an extra fee for using the fireplace — but there were no instructions/guidance for use of the fireplace at this property.

Comfiest beds ever!

This was a very nice place, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. When we first pulled up to the front of the unit, we were a little worried. There were cob webs around the front window and porch light and the cushions on the two chairs out front are all torn up and filthy. We were a little nervous that the inside would look the same. But it was beautiful and clean on the inside. Very attractive, too. The winding staircase leads up to a cute little loft and a very large bedroom with a queen sized bed, and a bathroom. There is a patio door and a deck off of the upstairs bedroom, with the hillside as our nice view. It was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in away from home. And the sheets were soooo soft! The main level bedroom also has a patio door and a patio off of the bedroom. There is another bathroom on that floor, as well. The kitchen is small, but nice. The living room and dining area are nice-sized and attractive. There were no instructions anywhere (for arrival, departure, or how-to's), which was a bit unusual for a rental property. But we did receive a text with some basic information. This was a great condo to stay in and we would definitely stay there again. I would just suggest the simple fix of getting new cushions for the two chairs on the front porch and sweep away the cobwebs, so that the first impression would match the much better feeling we got when we walked in the door! Very nice place!

July 4th Durango Weekend

We loved Pine Acres for our family July 4th weekend. We had 6 adults and 1 toddler and it fit us just perfectly. The back deck was great for the toddler and seeing all the trains pass by along with the resident chipmunks in the rocks which he loved! The house was stocked with some basics which were very nice to arrive to.

Great July 4th weekend

We loved our family stay at Pine Acres and everything about our July 4th weekend in Durango! The house was perfect for 6 adults and 1 toddler with the loft and extra futon. The location for us was perfect being in between all the sights and downtown. We went to Honeyville, James Ranch, the July 4th parade, the picnic downtown, Durango Hot Springs and did an amazing waterfall hike. Thanks for the best family weekend ever where we felt very comfortable and safe!

Great property! This is a beautiful townhouse located about 10 miles outside Durango. Easy drive into Durango for tours, adventures. The kitchen has plenty of plates, silverware, etc. which was appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the washer/dryer was nice to have. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the evening. The Vacasa rep I spoke with while I was there was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this townhome.

Worked for us!

Cute condo!

Our family enjoyed this cute condo! Great location and value. The stairs are narrow, so that could be an issue for some when trying to get to the 2nd floor. The beds were comfortable, so we were happy. It does get a bit warm upstairs in the summer with no AC, but manageable if you open the windows. I would stay here again.

We liked the location and the amenities that were available in the home. It would have been nice if there is an air conditioning in the home. We couldn't sleep well due to the hot weather and couldn't open the patio door due to bugs.

Eh, it was ok

There is zero AC. The listing says there is a thermostat, but it is heat only. The house was 85° at one point, and with two small children it was miserable. Cooking utensils were greasy and still had crusted food on them. We found trash under the couches. The beds were decently comfortable but it was too hot to sleep. Would make a good place to stay in the winter for boarders, but that’s about it.
