Beautiful property …golf courses were amazing, the room was cozy and comfortable and the little kitchenette was perfect for us for small meals..a sweet market in Hermosa for goods that was not far ! Overall we would return !

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was in a great location and the property has beautiful grounds. All the staff were very helpful. Our main complaint was that our whole hallway smelled like marijuana smoke and the loft was very hot and difficult to cool down for the kids to sleep. Clean and well equipped.

Beautiful area but dated unit

The resort and area are beautiful. The unit itself is dated and needs repair - peeling wall paper, torn curtains, dirty carpets, poor lighting. Kitchen is just a sink, small frig and 2 burner stove top. Microwave sits in the living room. Regardless the kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft, and both the indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub were clean and very nice. We would stay at the resort again but in a different unit.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was completely functional for our family of 5. We really loved the layout and how everyone had their own bed! Couple of things to note, this unit is really outdated - I usually wouldn’t mind but a few things to mention: the shower/tub would not drain so it would fill up while you were showering and be a few inches deep after a 5 minutes shower. There was also black mold on the shower liner and we were left with no hand soap; bottles were nearly empty so I added water- no biggie. Other minus was the curtains were completely ripped so I am not sure why they were still hanging BUT they definitely kept the sun out. Positive was the electric shades up in the loft! The kids slept great and the room was definitely dark so if you are a lite sleeper you will sleep well. Our queen bed downstairs was comfortable and like I said we really liked the functionality of the unit. It was also a quiet unit, we didn’t hear much noise. We love love love Tamarron Lodge it has great amenities and beautiful grounds!

Perfect place

We were in Durango for a soccer tournament and loved our time here. It was about 20 min outside of town, a beautiful drive. The unit itself was clean and furnished appropriately. Somewhat dated but nice furnishings. My kids said it gave them a “grandmas house” vibe and they loved the spiral staircase! I was a little confused to receive four text messages and 3 emails from the property management company - which was not VRBO. Over communication. It did make things clear, just felt a little excessive. Great location, great property. We would definitely consider staying here again if we’re back in the area.

You Will Love Your Stay!

If you want to swim or use the sauna...you will love the amenities! Wait, how about excerise....there is ALOT to choose from! Walking is a must along with hiking! Or just sit and relax! In your room, you will stay plenty cold with the AC in the summertime! You will also be able to open the windows to smell the outdoor air! ENJOYED OUR STAY FROM TEXAS~

Family ski trip

We had a nice trip. The unit was as described. It was nice having an elevator and luggage rack to carry our stuff up to the third floor. It had a coffee pot and a few filters which was nice to start the morning. We chose to drive to Purgatory each day instead of taking the shuttle because the shuttle only runs at 8:20 and leaves at 4:30. It was only a 10-15 minute drive to the mountain which was very convenient. Thank you for a great trip.
