Modern design retreat in Downtown Durango

The Stonehouse Loft is a brand new building, built from the ground up in 2015. Designed by your host, with plans drawn by Jess Wilton, a great local Durango architect, it was built by people (your host again!) and for people who love modern design. The Loft features radiant heated concrete floors throughout, and a modern, bright, but cozy vibe. Located a half block off of Main Avenue in downtown Durango, you can walk to all the shops, restaurants, galleries and bars in minutes from this centrally located apartment. A king size bed, lovely shower and bathroom, and well equipped kitchen provide you with the comforts and conveniences of home. Close to mountain biking, hiking, the river and the Durango Silverton Narrow gauge railway. This property puts you close to everything Durango has to offer. (DURANGO VACATION RENTAL PERMIT #15-010) ...There is off-street parking for one medium-sized or small car.

We spent a long 4 day weekend in Durango. This condo was awesome, great location, clean, and had everything we needed. The bed was a tad firm our liking, but not terrible. Very clean and has everything you need. No TV was unexpected, but I actually enjoyed not having a TV. We spent time outside enjoying the weather and coffee on the patio.We will be back!

Great location and it was quiet for being downtown. Cute place. Parking is very tight in the provided spot but it was nice to have somewhere to park had we brought a bigger vehicle it would not have fit. We didn’t get to enjoy the nice outdoor seating due to rain but would definitely stay here again for the location.

We enjoyed our stay very much and found the proximity to town one of its best features. We would prefer a more comfortable couch and chair in the living area vs the low back (futon) couch but that was the only negative issue we had. That said, we highly recommend this Durango gem!

A great place in a great location to explore Durango and SW Colorado. Loved walking to the shops and dining in downtown. Super cool, clean, and nicely appointed property, and George was awesome. The arrival gift was a nice touch! So many hikes, breweries, top dining, and more. Loved it!
