“Such a magical experience! Me and my husband stayed here to see the stars. The last night we were here, the sky cleared up and we experienced such a beautiful sky. We sat in the hot tub and just enjoyed the nature around us and gorgeous sky above us. Aside from that, the surrounding sites and adventures were fun too! We climbed the old Sounding Knob Fire Tower, ate at the Curly Maple, road the train at the Cass Scenic Railroad, and went to the Green Bank Observatory. It was such a great trip,……

“The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. Obviously, we were totally fine and……

Our group absolutely loved this unit - it was perfect for our weekend getaway to the 4848 Festival. By far, this has been our favorite place to stay at Snowshoe. Highly recommend!”
