"Lovely apartment and lovely hosts. Very spacious, quiet, clean, and tastefully decorated. Spectacular view of Krems. Probably best for travelers to consider using electric bike/automobile during the stay, as public transport is not that close and the apartment is in a residential neighborhood up on a hill. "Was very disappointed to walk in and discover the common areas reeked of cigarette smoke. After contacting the host they agreed to send the cleaner back who left a passive-aggressive note telling us she had cleaned thoroughly already. The rest of the rooms were decent but left much to be desired. The linens were dingy.The location is great. Short walk to the main areas and next to transit to the rest of the Wachau Valley."

"Great experience- unique hotel - staff was excellent for service and provided great area tourist info. The location is great- in a small town, but parking is inside the hotel boundaries. We really enjoyed the terrace with a great view of the Danube- great place to sip and watch the river boats float by. Breakfast was very good as well- made to order items along with buffet items. Although this is a more expensive hotel, it was worth it."
