“There was not abundant trace of breakfast items on nice and fresh. The staff was friendly and the person who checked us in was very welcoming. I think his name was something like Reynea. “The staff was great! Everyone was super kind and helpful after driving 15+ hrs to get there to visit family we arrived at 10:30 am and i was exhausted the amazing ladies at the front desk allowed us to check in early and get some rest! I was beyond grateful! The room was very spacious and had everything we needed! The beds however were terrible you just sink into a huge dip and the shower heads were also not the best! Other than these 2 things it was great! ”

Countless waterfalls and lakes make it a great destination, especially in the Fall and Spring seasons. Throw in a colorful sunrise/sunset and you’ve got the ingredients for a beautiful image. This particular location is about a 10 hour drive from my home. I tried to time my visit to coincide with fall colors, but on the evening of my arrival, I was disappointed to see that only a few trees were showing the vibrancy I was expecting. That night happened to be a very cold night and when I showed up the next morning - to my immense surprise - dawn’s first light showed a lot more color than the previous evening. While the primary reason for my visit was to shoot the waterfalls of the Glen, this sunrise on the lake offered a view I couldn’t pass.
