“Misleading photos, they uploaded some photos and we booked it based on views but once we arrived there, we were told that our rooms are in the other building in another address! WEIRD! By the way, we have been waiting behind the door for about 2 hours to get into the building. The guy in customer service, on the phone, was so rude and was not helpful at all!”

“Excellent buffet dinner and breakfast!”

“Had really enjoyable stay with my family . Clean , pleasant breakfast. Clean hotel . Easy parking space for our car for few days (for free) just under 4min walk to hotel from parking space . We used bus everyday to explore Amsterdam . It cost around £5.50 one way to Amsterdam. Took just under 30min .van pay my card on the bus . Recommend visiting Edam’s cheese museum , local villages .”

“Location is good and near the train station, but everything you need to pay and expensive to get, no kettle no hot water, no luggage room.”

“The room is well-renovated and clean. Nearby environment is beautiful and quite. However, the transportation is too inconvenient. It requires almost an hour to go to the hotel from Amsterdam Central.”

“The hotel needs to take a look on its electrical appliances, the fridge was left unplugged, and when we tried, we found that the socket was broken and it was so dangerous! The hotel implements a "Quiet policy" within the hotel at night, sadly the hotel is located among several bars, casinos and restaurants, plus its poor sound proofing, it was very noisy at mid-night. In some of the days, the house keeping were not done when we expected to, or when we have asked to. ”

“Really great place to stay, I really liked the place, room is as described! Really close to Zaan Schans and Zaandam and easily accessible to Amsterdam! Highly recommended if you want to stay a bit further from Amsterdam!”

“This was a gorgeous room and really lovely property. The village is very cute, the staff was extremely friendly and gave lots of suggestions. The room was clean and the bathtub is both functional and decorative. I’m glad there was a stand up shower as well that was separate from the tub. It was extremely quiet and felt like a tiny house. The downstairs area was a tiny living room and felt like home. Absolutely loved this room and would gladly stay here again!”

“It was rather noisy in the evening, not a very good noise absorption. Also, it was difficult to check in as the system was down and everything was automated. But in the end, we did manage to get in the room with a help from the staff. Although we could not manage to operate the TV. Coffee and tea were excellent. Also, the design of the room was nice. Property is close to public transport.”

“What an amazing stay! Harbourlodges well exceeded our expectations! Everything was spotless! Easy to find, communication was amazing! Thank you again for such a great stay, we will be back and recommend to anyone we know traveling to Amsterdam! Easy access to the train station and shopping!”
