「Located in the historic centre of Chichester, the location is hard to beat. The staff were friendly and helpful. The check-in desk is in the pub, which has a limited evening menu, but there are plenty of eateries within short-walking distance. The rooms are quite large and charmingly named after past cathedral bishops. The pub can be noisy to the early hours as it also functions as a night club. If you're noise sensitive, another venue would be a better choice. If you're into clubbing, then it's...

「I stayed 4 nights and my room was not serviced properly. I had to get them to make my bed after I retuned daily. I cannot understand why this was not done. I did not go on a bus mans holiday to make beds I do that at home. The food was very good at breakfast. My room was well used. Toilet seat would not stay up and blind needed replacing. I was in room 2.」

「Its a lovely building, full of character existing features. Parking at the back of the building with easy access. My room was the honeymoon suite. Large but cozy including a spacious bathroom with jacuzy for at least 2. Plenty of storage space and a large comfy bed. Plenty of choices for breakfast that can be bought to your room or served in the light, bright dining room with garden views. Staff were very friendly and helpful and I would definately stay there again.」

「Recommend - Lovely place, good service.」

「Staff were lovely」

「I stayed for one night while visiting my daughter at Chichester University and had hoped to find a hotel I could use regularly, but I will not be returning. The website says parking is available, but the hotel car park was difficult to find, extremely small and full. After a 2½-hour drive, I had to navigate a very busy town centre to find alternative parking, all of which was chargeable. The limited parking needs to be explained much more clearly before booking. I arrived at 2.30pm, but my...

「Really old hotel lots of character starting to look very dated in rooms Really could do with a refit and some modernisation」

「Friendly staff」

「This was a cute pub with rooms to let above. Our room was on one of the top floors. It was quite tiny, but with a nice view out the tiny window and had all we needed. Staff were lovely and the bar was lovely too.」

「Absolutely immaculate accommodation. AC in the bedrooms was fab. Could do with it in the bar and restaurant too. The menu is a bit limited but the food was good. Friendly staff.」
