「My stay coincided with a serious winter storm that hit the area the first night. I woke up to piles of snow covering the landscape, my car, the driveway and the roads. Luckily the house had a generator that kicked in when the power went out and the host also had a snow plow to clear out the driveway. Entertainment was provided by the birds feeding on top of the snow. I drank hot chocolate and coffee and enjoyed nestling in the apartment.」

「I grew up in the area and was looking for a spot near family but still convenient to all our favorite spots, the Southern Maine Shore points and Conway New Hampshire and the White Mountains. This fit the bill and we enjoyed our time. You will be driving down a dirt road, but it is well maintained. The property is comfortable and clean, the views are great, and the hosts are awesome! They had wine bottles available for purchase, which we did. They were also super helpful in setting up the grill...

「Not enough receptacles. Very hot in this small room, no ac. 1 roll of toilet paper just didn’t last. We thot it had a beach but not really. They said they wud bring us clean towels daily& they didn’t.」

「Our visit to Bridgton was great, primarily due to the beautiful setting of our stay at the Hideaway for our family of four (two adults and two kids (five and twelve)). The Suite is located above a pub and grill in downtown Bridgton, which we were a little worried about; but turned out fine. We didn’t hear any noise from the pub when we were visiting, and you wouldn’t have known it was down there. 「This was the perfect size for us. It was very close to a grocery store and several restaurants. The caretaker was exceptional 」

「This was the perfect location for everything we wanted to do. We went to Acadia, Kennebunkport, Boston, Rockport, and more. This was a great location to go to all of those places. It was spacious enough to hold all of us. I will also say that the owner went above and beyond the call of duty I sending a box full of clothes that my son left drawer in his bedroom back to us and we got home. Thanks for everything, this was our favorite trip. I will say the honeymoon suite a only has three bedrooms...

「This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp.」
