「Shimmering Cove was the perfect location for me and my friends to stay at for the weekend. There was plenty of space, activities, and supplies available. The hot tub was amazing and the views were wonderful. We made use of the kayaks, and there was also plenty to do when the weather was rainy. Check in and check out process was seamless. I would highly recommend this property!」

「Beautiful home, view and neighborhood」

「Our family and our dog had a great kick off to summer here at Joan's place on Crystal Lake. Our kids loved the kayaks and canoes, taking a run around the lake, and s'mores by the fire. Our family loved grilling on the large deck overlooking the lake. The neighbors were kind and Joan was a great host, even saving the day when our dog made a surprise early morning escape from his harness. Great experience!」

「Our stay was a little short, but overall we enjoyed our stay. We where visited by wild turkeys 🦃 and large black ants 🐜 in the kitchen area. Early summer pest. We will love to revisit the location in the fall. And their lake location」

「Lovely home with beautiful lake views! We enjoyed spending time with friends here. The house was well equipped with all we needed and the rooms were all very comfortable! The yard was also very nice with outdoor seating areas and steps down to the water. A wonderful tranquil retreat!」

「Everything about the property was as advertised or better. Valarie was an exceptional communicator always responding to messages immediately. Everything about the house is high quality. I had some concerns about having to cross a street to get to the private beach but those concerns turned out to be unfounded. Very little traffic. We would definitely go back.」

Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp.」

「Great cottage Road was busy There was alcohol left in the fridge. I am an alcoholic in recovery. I was not tempted but was a little off putting. Would go back definitely 💯」
