“We rented the whole place and had a magical week. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating and made everything easy. The place is beautiful, definitely rustic, but that's fine. The water and boats worked perfectly. We camped on islands and had adventures every day. The Kitchen is big and functional. We were a very large group and needed a bit more refrigeration, but I know the hosts are working on that. The caretakers made our stay even better. Food truck is a boon. The vibe of the……

“The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient.”

We were there for 4 nights and we had a choice to pick from 2 different made to order hot breakfasts every day with fruit. Of course there is cereal, oatmeal, apples, bananas, coffee, orange juice, tea, etc. Plus the location is close to downtown for an easy walk to local restaurants and store shopping. And it's a short drive to all the walking trails at Arcadia National Park. Great place to stay and have fun!”
