“We had a fabulous time here - accommodation was spacious and comfortable with all you could wish for. There was nothing we could fault. The little extras that always make a difference were there too - fridge items, milk, butter, also sugar, tea and coffee with all the showers having having all the toiletries you could want.. Lovely host and the horses, dogs and cat were loved by our toddler. Well placed too for getting out and about. Recommend Churchland Farm and the Stable to anyone who wants……

“An excellent accommodation for my family requirements. 4 adults and 2 children. Good sized bedrooms, excellent kitchen and living area. Generally well equipped, some cleaning cloths required would be our only thought. Otherwise, excellent hosts who were available if required, and though living close where very descreet. The property was easy to find given the GPS coordinates. Communication with the hosts was excellent, and they were very helpful in all arrangements. There was good instructions……

“Amazing house for a short weekend away with friends. We came for Easter weekend with a large group of 19 people. We ordered pizzas from the local pizza restaurant under David’s recommendation which made cooking easier and were great pizzas that arrived nice and hot. We did spot a mouse in one of the rooms however but as people who live in the rural countryside ourselves, it’s expected in these types of properties. Overall great stay and lovely facilities- amazing hot tub and we loved the outside……

“Charming, historical barn. A clever use of a cosy space. Spotless. All amenities you could want -but top tip, look for cutlery in the sideboard! Futon perhaps not as comfy as one might hope. But, overall, a lovely stay.”

“We have a lovely stay at the end of August. The house is very comfortable and there was easily enough space for 8 of us and three dogs! The location is perfect for exploring the north Somerset coast and Exmoor, and having the hot tub to come home to each evening was an added bonus, and also the table tennis table, which we all enjoyed. Jane was very responsive if we had any queries and we were even able to check out late since no one else was coming that day. Would highly recommend for group……

“The property was amazing , true to its pictures . Immaculate and had everything you needed for a great weekend . Plenty of towels , crockery and toiletries. Hot tub and swimming pool were nice and clean . The host , Karen , was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her . The late checkout on a Sunday was a great bonus . We will defo be returning .”

“Lots of properties say they are dog friendly but rarely are they so dog welcoming!! My two adult sons, Labrador and I had a four night break to coincide with the end of Uni term. The barn was pristine upon arrival and Liz was very welcoming and had thought of everything, from the secure exercise area for Zena (Lab) to the breakfast items for us. It’s a beautiful barn conversion, I particularly liked the mood lighting! Very comfortable and tastefully decorated throughout to a high standard. There……

“We returned to stay at the Old Stables again for a few days, coupled with a visit to Glastonbury and Wells. Again, everything was perfect and we love the location, providing excellent access to both towns, with a wonderful rural setting. The space is warm and cosy, with everything being thoughtfully provided for a self-catering stay. We will certainly be back!”

“This is a great place to stay. Very well made, really nicely done and in a great location. Hot tub was lovely and perfectly situated outside the patio door from the bedroom. Very impressed. “Extended family with small children celebrating a big birthday - super easy to check in - great hosts - cottage interiors very thoughtfully designed with nice touches - it’s part of an old building so there are some steep stairs and an old damp wall, but we thought it was really characterful - the use of the garden really made it for us as the kids loved running around and the adults loved having a sunny spot to relax in - comfy beds and good value overall We would love to stay again if we……
