"We came up to explore the Lake Huron side of the state, and this location was perfect. Some days we went south, and some north, and everything was within 30-40 minutes. The home is very clean, and well supplied. We particularly appreciated the coffee supplies, washer and dryer and being allowed to bring our greyhounds. The only negative was road noise, but once I found the white noise maker and plugged it in, and found a setting we liked, we didn't notice the road noise as much. Our first night...

"I had a nice time staying at the property. They communicated with me promptly when I messaged them. It was a little warm in the upstairs bedroom, but I did see central air will be available next year! The beach access was very close. "Zeron Island is absolutely beautiful! The home is exactly as pictured. We kept remarking at how clean everything was. Even the outdoor bathroom. Not a cobweb to be found. Our pups loved the trail through the woods, and it was so nice to open the door and let them run. We all had a wonderful time. We will definitely be back!! PS..the photos I have of the Island, sunset and sunrise are gorgeous."

"The property was just as stated, had an issue getting into property but Amber fixed the issue fast. We had absolutely no issues other than what I mentioned and taht wasn't really an sisue just an oops, overall our spur of the moment weekend getaway was great dispite the rain when driving there. "Perfect place to stay if you're looking for peace and quiet. Our cottage was right on the beach and we were the only ones there with another couple a couple doors down. The cottage was the perfect size and judt as described. The bed was so comfortable, a rare find when vacationing. The beach and water were perfect with lots of other things to do within a reasonable distance. We will definitely be making future trips up to discover more of the area."

"We had a wonderful stay at Kate’s bungalow in Tawas City. It fit our family of four (plus dog) perfectly. The kitchen was stocked with all the appliances and cookware we needed. We enjoyed games, movies and the outdoor fire pit. The convenient location made walks along the bay frequent and easy. The drive into town is short so we enjoyed local restaurants, our favorite was Tawas Bay Pizza Company - great food and friendly servers. We’ll be back, hopefully for a longer stay! -Kirsten"

"Because it was the week before Labor Day, we had the lake practically to ourselves. The cabin was definitely use some updates, but had all the essentials needed. Although I never had direct contact with Lee myself, my husband found him to be a very gracious and conscientious host. He responded immediately to all of our needs. "This cabin was SO CLEAN and cozy! It smelled so nice when we walked in, there wasn’t a speck of dust anywhere, the beds and couches were super comfy, and the sheets were the softest sheets I’ve ever slept on. They had everything we needed and even had shower stuff if you forgot yours. Ive already recommended this cabin to a few people and we just got home lol. I will be coming back!"
