"This is in the Holiday Inn Vacation Club properties at Grand Geneva, though the owner is not directly part of the Holiday Inn. The property is nice. Only negative was the tub was not jetted as advertised. We were there for a getaway and it served our purposes nicely. I would imagine it is great in the summer. It was cheaper than through the resort and no resort fees. We would recommend it."

"Check-in went great. We had the standard 1 bedroom room. Rooms are a bit dated, but clean and comfotable enough for a family of 3. Our first night at 4:30am the fire alarm directly above our bed started to beep every 30 seconds, like a home one does when the battery is running low. A hotel should have regular maintenance on their fire systems so this does not happen. This beep woke us and our toddler up. I called the front desk immediately who said they'd put an urgent request in to maintenance....

"This is the second time we stayed at The Retreat. LOTS of space inside and out for our family to gather. Kids age 3-10 could not get enough of the heated pool and the adults especially enjoyed the hot tub. We added an 'exrra' and had a small family reunion one of the afternoons and the place was perfect for this. Game room such a bonus when it rained. We didn't need to leave the property but some checked out 7 Mile Fair. Communication with the owner was timely. I'm sure the family will vote to...
