"The host/property manager Michelle was the best!! The property is on far west end of the lake. The nearest boat ramp is at Bass Hollow. The sketchy part is there really is no place to keep a boat trailer at the property. Luckily, Michelle helped us store our bass boat trailer on a nearby lot. Otherwise, I have no idea what we would have done. This was very stressful to be figuring out at night with limited visibility. "Everything was better than described. This host has really out done themselves on equipping and organizing this property. I learned quite a few tricks for my own STR's. The kitchen was well equipped with everything down to saran wrap and baggies. Plenty of towels for inside and towels for lake. Host labeled many items and just made the visit so much easier. Lots of provided games also. We used the binoculars provided to watch the wildlife across the lake and could hear and see many turkeys...

"Cabin we booked was blocked from the lake by a large RV that wasn’t in the pictures. The A/C was not working when we arrived. We were easily moved to another cabin that was a dump. Cabin was extremely primitive, there were Bugs, oven full of grease, trash around. However, our money was refunded. They tried to make it right, it’s just needs a lot of maintenance."

"We had a great time at this property. We were staying for a baseball tournament. It has everything you need and plenty of room for 8. The property was clean when we arrived and had everything we needed for the stay. Pool and outdoor space were great to hang out in. There is a grocery / restaurant / gas station right down the street shI was really convenient. Even has a bar and live country music on the weekends which was really fun. "This was the perfect rental for two guys who were in town for a bass tournament. Nice cabin, great amenities. The internet was a little slow, but thats to be expected with how far off the beaten path it is. I'll definitely stay here again the next time we're in town."

"Great spring break rental! We loved getting cozy near the fire place and listening to music on built- in speakers. The light setup outside was beautiful. Only down side was creek was too low and bank too steep to fish from the bank. Would have been nice if dock was complete to fish from. We were able to fish a from another creek about 5miles down the road."

"Clean modern place that’s very quiet and peaceful. Explored the old abandoned zoo and traveled to Abilene to their zoo. Will get a fishing license for next time, the dock is set up great for fishing. Highly recommend. Covered parking off the road for one vehicle."

"I very much enjoyed our stay at cabin #4. It was a very basic setup inside the cabin, yet comfortable. Had everything we needed. The best part was the private dock, where we enjoyed a full day of fishing. The scenery was beautiful as well. We enjoyed a few hikes, getting to know the landscape while we were there. Overall a beautiful & peaceful escape from the city life."
