“Lovely hotel Beautiful room upgrade a surprise so lovey thank you overlooking the pond & golf course. Breakfast sunday morning a nightmare no staff to assist, had to ask for cups, plates and fresh food as food was not being replenished quick enough for the amount of guests. Tables not being cleaned away lots of guests waiting around for stuff. 1 guy in the restaurant running around when others should have been more attentive and doing their job. Need more staff or Manager needs to have a word……

“We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. ”

“Lovely hosts and a very generous cooked breakfast with quality ingredients and big pot of tea plus lots of toast! Room was very spacious and comfortable with a balcony for warmer weather - lovely views to the other side. Decor is somewhat dated and bathroom could do with update but everything scrupulously clean, loads of hot water and everything very comfortable. Could not have asked for more.”

“All Good, very reasonable prices, I recommend customers leave luggage in car until checked in, as accommodation is on opposite side of car park, no complaints, very nice staff, and accommodation presentable, very good food and drink choices, IMPORTANT-- the room key (card) is also used to enter the accommodation block as well as your room. ”
