“Very accommodating and bigger room than thought!”

“Probably my favorite small motel that I have ever stayed in! The host was so nice and willing to do almost anything to make the stay comfortable. The room was small but very comfortable. Very clean and quiet. The proximity to ski resort was a plus. No negatives at all. Doesn't have all the extras of a big hotel but it is perfect for a ski stay or I'm sure a summer trip as well.”

“Room was absolutely perfect. I even made a request to have balcony face trees and they did just that. Breakfast was great. Hotel is clean and in great location. Staff went out of their way to go above and beyond.”

“It was a nice room the only thing I didn't like was the fire alarm going off in the night and having to go all the way down upstairs and wait by the bus stop just to come to find out that it was 8th floor not 6th floor so I could've stayed in my room the entire time.. it was loud and cold and annoying and then nobody even told us what you do I feel like they need to be more on top of it if they have fire like that they need to walk to each room and tell them they need to leave the floor that……

“The rooms are wonderful & the staff was great however, Bring your own breakfast. Frozen, vegan burritos for $12 that you can get from king Soopers for $1.99 or the “Croissant Collection” was actually frozen hockey pucks smaller than the palm of my hand (I am only 5 ft tall) they didn’t even have the frittatas. Sold as a “ “Luxury Resort”, I had a “suite”, asked for the celebration package, someone called me, told me they were to busy but could probably have balloons in the room. No balloons. If……

“There is nothing near by to walk to especially when it is cold and snowing out. They don't have a liquor license so you cant gamble and drink there. To get to the garage for parking you have to leave there go down the hill to the stop sign. Then you have to make your way back up the hill. Its on a one way road. Not very convenient at all”

“We completely enjoyed our stay! Greeted by Danielle and she was the best host. We can’t say enough good things about our time at Highland Haven. Highly recommended!”

“The walls are paper-thin. The beds are sold as memory foam mattress, they are not. I sleep on memory foam. It gives just a bit when pressed. These beds are the cheapest hardest mattress from whatever local discount mattress shop. There was an extremely limited breakfast available. One night our neighbor had a full mental break down and ems had to sit outside our room for hours. Also we arrived after 10 pm. We were left to wait in the cold for a staff member. They provide a phone to call said……

“It was a really cute, quaint cabin. My only complaint is that the the walls are thin and we could hear every conversation, so if you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs. ”
