“Friendly staff ”

“Really nice airport hotel. Traveling with parents and teens. Needed a short over night layover after flying into Capetown. (Travelled to Victoria Falls the next day.)Would highly recommend. Easy shuttle to and from airport. All staff were helpful and friendly. Nice buffet breakfast esp for early flight. Safe and comfortable. Great bar restaurant for dinner and drinks (and World Cup watching) after a long flight in.”

The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and the beach nearby, and it’s within easy walking distance of the waterfront.”

“Fantastic location and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Amber on reception was incredibly helpful. The room was magnificent and large with a veranda and incredible view. The bed was comfortable and the resort very quiet. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Seeing the resident springbok and other wild animals that live and roam in the area was such a treat too. Would definitely recommend the Lodge and will stay again.”

“Basically staying in SA safety is a concern, i had a very bad experience in my last visit of SA in the other hotel. City lodge is quite good about this, the employee is good. One complaint is the view, i didn't get the mountain view this time.”

“This is probably the worst hotel I have stayed in over the past ten years. I booked a two-bedroom apartment. On the first day of check-in, neither of the two rooms had been cleaned. Both beds had very obvious yellow stains, and one of the beds had not even been made at all. The Wi-Fi did not work. After I contacted the staff, they said it could not be fixed until the next day when the IT team was on duty. I was told to connect to a neighbor’s Wi-Fi instead, but the signal was so weak that I……
