Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charlotte - Ballantyne by IHG

"The Good: This hotel is in amazing location in my favorite area. I usually stay Hilton but I chose this place because I also love IHG. Vickie was so nice at the front desk! She answered every questions over the phone before I checked in and was very nice in person. The room was spotless and clean. Very comfortable. There wasn’t a lot of noise! She was there at check-out and she was just as nice. The Bad: The $150 incidental per night fee is the worst. I understand the incidental fee is to cover the hotel but $150 per night is alot. Vickie explained this over the phone on the day that I was going to check in. Im not mad about it. It’s just a lot. The parking is not the best. The hot water was not working in the shower so that was a bummer. I love the property but $150/night incidental fee is excessive. Even though it’s returned, it’s still alot of money. I’m not sure if I will come back but I dont have anything negative to say about the property."

"The room was comfortable but not as nice as the photos. Staff was super helpful. Breakfast waffles were great, other items were ok being a little dry. If on a tight budget this is a good place to stay."

"Clean inside and outside, safe, very little noise, Ample well lit parking, beautiful, well appointed rooms, entire property looks new except it is really six years old, super comfortable beds and pillows, full-size refrigerator, microwave, plenty of drawers and shelves and hangers, great bathrooms with walk-in showers if needed,"
