The house had everything we needed for meals and family time. Only warning is that the downstairs bedroom bunkbeds really are for kids. If you're over 5' they will be really uncomfortable, I had to sleep on the couch...

「We stayed here over the 4th of July! It was in a great location in the heart of Effingham right above a great little speakeasy and just a couple blocks from Joe Sippers for morning coffee. It looked exactly like the pictures — a big bright, open loft in a historic building that somehow still managed to feel modern and cozy. It’s one of those places that feels like being at home even though you’re away, especially with a well appointed kitchen with all the basic utensils and supplies for cooking....

「This property was a true jewel. Nothing left to the imagination. The home was clean and the check our process was very simple. We will book this home again on our next trip to Effingham. 」

「Our family thoroughly enjoyed this lake cottage! The place was very clean, accurate to the listing and the hosts communicated quickly. There were a lot of extras available; toilet paper, paper towels, dish/laundry detergent, trash bags, outdoor insulated cups, spices. We enjoyed the numerous lake floats and the paddle board. 「Such a picturesque location for our mini friend's Bible retreat. Everything was impeccable and they offer so many thoughtful amenities. The indoor and outdoor spaces were all designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. We were even able to enjoy the hot tub one morning as it was well shaded. I would certainly recommend choosing this home for your next vacation by a body of water!」

「Very convenient location, Very cosy and stylish apartment, with a big variety of things to do (f.e. games, the arcade machines were great!). But also nice shops and restaurants in walking distance to explore, very quiet at night.」
