Oxford Suites Pismo Beach

10/10 Excellent

"I really like the overall property. For a less expensive beach hotel vibe, I’d say the cleanliness is pretty on par, but I would have preferred a little cleaner overall. Everything else was honestly amazing. The entire team was super nice, check in was very easy, and the hotel makes it so easy to engage with other guests with the social hour. My son made friends at the pool and I made friends with the parents, too. With the bar right off the pool, it was such a fun place to stay and relax. Breakfast was great, the room was comfortable and had plenty of space. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"This is a lovely property - very secluded (and a tiny bit difficult to find) along the Bob Jones trail. Beautiful Craftsman-style hotel with a nice big fireplace in the lobby for guests to enjoy. We stayed in the standard room and found it to be very comfortable and roomy with a huge bathroom! The only thing I would like them to upgrade would be to include hand lotion in the bathroom. This is the only hotel I have stayed in in decades that didn't include hand lotion. Not a big deal, but I don't travel with it any longer, so I had to buy some. There is a nice restaurant/deli on the property where you can get a good meal. They also offer a large selection of wines that you can purchase and take back to your room. The hotel is only a few minutes drive from the beach and downtown Avila. And a relatively short drive to several other fabulous cities: Pismo Beach, San Luis Obispo and even Paso Robles. The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. We can most definitely recommend the Avila Village Inn,"
