“Spacious and clean room. Staffs were friendly. Love the pancakes and french toasts in the morning. Also they provide afternoon tea :’). Feels amazing to have a cup of onion soup after coming back from skiing.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the inn especially coming to a hot tub after a whole day on the slopes. Breakfast was delicious and coffee was always fresh. Our room was nice and clean with a wonderful view to the mountain. We were on the lower floor so we could hear a lot of noise from the guests upstairs which was the only downside. ”

“Butler House speaks of itself: a house with the amazing management of a great butler - the result of the dedication of the owner, Paul and his wife. Paul was so friendly and though he was always busy at the breakfast room, he always checked if we needed help Our room was spacious, clean and tidy and offered everything we need.The kitchen is big and we enjoyed cooking there. I used their washing machine and dryer and detergent and softener were available. Highly recommended for couples……

“Great spot to stay for hitting the slopes at Stowe. Big indoor hot tub and the cool fire pit for s’mores!”

“The front desk staff and restaurant staff were amazing! The chef even came out to ask us how everything was and interacted with my kiddo. The room was extremely clean and put together. I would absolutely recommend! ”

“I was in Stowe last weekend and broke my shoulder so the next day I stopped by the Grey Fox inn to ask the if they could please cancel my reservation because of my accident. I was aware I had made the reservation through Expedia and was also aware that the cancelation date was over due. I explained the situation to the front desk girls (2) and both said I had to contact Expedia. I did, Expedia contacted the hotel and the hotel said no...I'm sure they double sold my room since they know I was not……

“There was no hot tub. The rooms seem like somebody used AI to decorate them... not very functional. The grounds were basically a mud pit so you have to carry your roll bags on your head while trying to jump over big pools of water and mud. If you're paying luxury prices here in the high season, you should definitely look elsewhere. ”

“The room was very clean and cozy, and the owner was incredibly nice and hospitable. My favorite part of the stay was the breakfast and the free cookies. What really stood out to me was how accommodating the owner was. My brother decided to join us last minute even though I had booked for only three people. I reached out to let her know, and she kindly updated the booking to four guests without any extra charge. I truly appreciated her flexibility and hospitality. I definitely recommend!”

“Everything with the room itself was great. It was clean and in a great location. My issue with this reservation was the amenities. They are not inlcluded. So even though the listing says they have pools and hot tubs, don't expect to be able to use them unless you pay more when you get there. This should be made clear to anyone that books at this resort. ”
