"We booked this room through Expedia and stayed for two nights on New Year's Day and Jan. 2. The room was lovely and we were very pleased with it. It was spotless, the bed comfortable, it had good temperature control and attractive decor. The extra seating was unusually comfortable and we appreciated that there was a kitchen, which had not been listed on the reservation. There was even a fan in the closet, which was a nice bonus.
When I made the reservation the listing showed the room as suitable for three people and I was searching for three people. It seemed that this hotel had no two-bed choices (for those traveling with children). I assumed that there must be a fold-out sofa if it was listed as a three person room. When we got to the room there was a fairly small single cot which was so uncomfortable that we put the mattress on the floor and folded up the cot. This cot would have been too small for some teenagers and not acceptable for an adult. It would have been good to know that this was what we would get when making our reservation.
Although it was not stated on the reservation, there is underground parking available for a fee. As parking is a real challenge in this area we were glad to have this option and we parked there for both days.
There are many choices of restaurants for meals and they are within easy walking distance. The Hammer museum is just a block away and their restaurant, Lulu, is fantastic."
"I love the beautiful room. The lobby is cosy, warm, and sophisticated. When we had breakfast, we feel like home. The pastry is good. The staff are very hepful and friendly. The valet parking is very convenient. The area is safe, lots of restaurants, shops, in the walking distance."
