"My dad, brother and I just spent 4 nights at guayaba inn and it was fantastic. Its 10 mins away from the main square and some of San Cristobal‘s main sights. The rooms surround a gorgeous garden with tropical flowers and a koi fish pond. Breakfast is included and although the options are limited, everything is delicious. The only issue we had was that we didn’t have hot water in our rooms but the manager Julio got this fixed promptly and offered us to do our laundry for free as compensation. 10...

"Our stay at Ocho barrios was wonderful and we would recommend it 100%. The small, almost family-like hotel, was very nice decorated, with a beautiful patio and garden, which invite for a good rest after intensive sightseeing. The personal was extremely friendly, helpful, and very supportive! We felt very comfortable and welcomed and are already looking forward to our next stay. Muchas gracias! "

"I did a tour on the property last August and loved how clean and quiet it is and in a great location. I didn’t doubt booking and it met all my expectations. The staff is super accommodating and I will certainly will be returning in a few days."

"Muy tranquilo y un ambiente agradable. Tienen un jardín al cual tienes acceso.
El museo que hace una exposición sobre todo de los lacandones incluyendo fotografías muy antiguas. Me volvería a hospedar. "

"I recently stayed there with my dad and brother. The location is fantastic, rooms are spacious, modern and clean. Christel the concierge was super helpful and the restaurant is pretty good. The best part about casa del alma is the free underground parking since it’s extremely difficult to find parking around downtown San Cristobal. Great experience! "
"The hotel was excellent – just a short walk from San Cristóbal’s central park in a safe area. The facilities have lovely colonial touches that give it real character. Comfortable, well located, and great value for money. I’d happily return."
Tour this remarkable museum and cultural center, which depicts the lifetime of study of the Lacandón indigenous people by Gertrude Duby and Frans Blom.
