“Air conditioning in the room failed, the à la carte restaurants only allow for one dessert, and very slow service, the pools are warm, you have to be 18 or older to play pool in kids arcade, the pina colada was terrible, there were no elevators, no servers around the pool, you have to check out towels, if you lose your bracelet they charge $30 to put it back on, the snack bar is very limited, there’s no air conditioning anywhere but your room, the bathroom shower doesn’t have a door so the floor……

“The view from our room felt serene and magical. What a spectacular perspective of Lago Ilopango! The pool and amenities felt captured in nature and was cool & breezy in the high temperatures. The whole experience was very special to El Salvador and I would recommend anyone to include this stop in their itinerary.”

“The location was very ideal, the amenities were also great. The food was okay nothing to really talk about. The rooms were spacious, nice and clean. The hotel grounds were upkept really nice. The views from the terrances and pool were amazing. Some staff were really friendly (The front desk and the waiters). However, there were some staff that were very dismissive (not sure if it is a culture thing since we didn't speak fluent spanish).”

“My recommendation: don't buy the all-inclusive package for this resort. The food isn't good—there’s no variety, and it’s never hot. Also, with the à la carte options, you can't choose a full meal (appetizer, main course, and dessert); they tell you to pick just one, and if you want another, you have to pay extra. So, why on earth pay so much for all-inclusive? You can find much better food—really good food—in the surrounding area, such as at La Pampa Argentina and other places I won't mention.……

“Fernando is a life saver , my flight was delayed causing me to be late, so hotel cancelled my reservation but Fernando was able to get me a room for one night because hotel cancelled and refunded to expidia”

“I had got a room apparently they overbooked i was there in the middle of the night the concierge didn’t give me any other solution just we don’t a room we are overbooked unbelievable.I had a horrible experience. No communication between hotel and Expedia. How did no one have communication between Expedia and hotel. I had to find another place get a taxi and look around for an available hotel. And I still didn’t get my refund, they give us excuse they can’t contact to Marriot centro hotel or……

“Nuestra estadía fue maravillosa, la vista, la habitación, el trato y la comida del Restaurante dos Alas excelente. Recomendaciones para los turistas que asistan, en la noche la temperatura es excelentes podrías necesitar abrigo, en cuanto a transporte si usas un 4x4 mucho mejor. No dejen hacer los recorridos que ofrece la propiedad son excelentes.”

“Not real breakfast just some snacks on top of the front desk counter kind of bar 😒 not enough and no refills even on fruits. Ac broken and it was hard to find another room just move to a small bed no king size that was the one we payed in our reservation. Small parking lot! Dining has no AC to eat breakfast. No elevators and my husband was in crutches but no help it all from the personal with the luggage. No going back for sure. 👎👎”
