“We stayed here as a one night stop over on way to Caribbean side. The staff was kind and and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfy. We felt safe and got a good nights rest. Free breakfast was yummy. Would recommend this hotel as a stop over ”

“The hot springs pool was absolutely wonderful! And we even had it all to ourselves during our stay. Plus, the temperature was nice and comfortable. There was also a beautiful, peaceful, little pool next to the creek that we enjoyed. The property was really lovely and immense. We took a very long hike up for a good view. They did not have the restaurant open for dinner when we were there. So, the staff offered to drive us to and from a restaurant that had a nice atmosphere and good food. And you……

“Breakfast was a nice blend of a modest buffett, combined with one menu entree item. Biggest drawback is Uber doesnt recognize the hotel and places you at the University but it is gated. So you have to walk to corner for pickups. ”

“The condo was clean but smelled of disinfectant. The smell was so unpleasant that I had to keep the window open all the time. Although the window stayed open for the entire time, the smell remained. As soon as I stepped into this condo, I called the BEE management and asked for a different condo, but the person in charge claimed this could not be provided and refused to reimburse me. “Room dirty, next to commuter train which was loud. Food was very good however. Walking distance to downtown San Jose and outside of the big city a plus. No English tv channels. All men stay at this resort with some costa rican women coming in and out kind of creeped me out ”

“Solid 3 stars. Hotel is in a good and central location. There was heavy construction going on starting very early in the morning, I woke up to sounds of drilling on the wall next to my bed. Nothing fancy, just a decent hotel to get some rest before making it out to other parts of CR.”
