“Seabird is at the southend of Ft. Bragg on Hwy 1 (PCH). The property is older maybe built in the 70's or 80's. It is well maintained. Checkin was very good and the reception staff kind of worked off a script. Every checkin is the same. We booked a room with a king size bed and a balcony with a view of the ocean, although maybe a quarter mile away. There is an indoor pool and a restaurant across the parking lot that is part of the property. There is also a few gas stations and small stores very……

“Skip this place. This is not hospitality.
There were no basic amenities—no Kleenex, shampoo, conditioner, or even water. It took about 10 minutes of running water to get hot water in both the sink and shower. The floors were so dirty that the bottoms of our feet turned black.
We checked in with only one set of towels and had to request more. The pool was closed. The remote control was filthy, so we avoided using the TV altogether. There weren’t enough pillows, and the bedding was too……
