Wedding Weekend

We invited friends from out of town to stay at this property during our wedding weekend in Elk Rapids and all had a phenomenal time! There were enough places to sleep for all of us, and the quality of the space made everyone feel they were staying somewhere special. The Toomeys maintain their home very well and there was a delightful amount of space to sit on the porch or inside and catch up with loved ones. Would absolutely stay here again if given the opportunity!

Wonderful stay

What a lovely house. Spotless and comfortable!!! Easy walk into town. The kitchen was well stocked and a pleasure to cook in. The owner Monica was so helpful with any questions. We will definitely stay there again!

Great location, amazing house!

We had 9 guys stay here over the weekend. Everyone had beds and this house worked out perfectly! $20-30 Uber/lyft from Traverse City and walking distance to the lake and a beach! Great location, even better house, thank you!

We arrived to this charming house and were excited to explore the town and property. We had three couples who had plenty of room to enjoy each other’s company. Week-long family vacation in Elk Rapids and family wedding at A-Ga-Ming Golf Course

This was our first time to visit Elk Rapids and loved the town, the beaches, the surrounding towns and this house! We had 2 of our sons, fabulous daughter-in-laws, and 4 grandchildren with us to enjoy walks to town and beaches and restaurants! The house was beautiful, clean, and well-supplied for a memorable week with all! Hope we can come again!

This was a great property to stay at!

Monica from start to finish was amazing and super accommodating. The house is gorgeous, super spacious for everyone. Monica’s family has thought of everything so just bring your self, clothes and toiletries. The town and beach are a short 2 block walk, kids were safe riding bike everywhere. Short drive to TC with all kids of things to do. So happy we booked and look forward to booking again.

The best spot in Elk Rapids

Monica's place was perfect for our family and I can't overstate how much we loved it. The location is perfect, the rooms are big and comfortable with large windows and abundant natural light. It's old and historic, which gives it character, but with all the modern amenities you need. It was very clean, the communication with Monica was great, and it had everything we needed for a great stay. We come to Elk Rapids every year and will be booking Monica's property. We can't imagine staying anywhere else!

Wonderful Stay

We were a large group in town Memorial Day Weekend for the Bayshore races. Monica’s home is incredibly charming, well-appointed and in a great location in Elk Rapids. There was enough room in the house for our group of 12 runners/walkers! Monica is an incredible host and communicated with us often regarding check-in/checkout and providing lots of tips and recommendations for our stay. I will definitely refer others to this property!

Fabulous Trip!!

We had a such a wonderful week in Elk Rapids over the 4th of July holiday. The house was incredible...great for families with young kids. It was fully stocked with everything we needed from linens and towels to all kitchen necessities. Monica was great to work with and checked in on us to make sure our needs were met. It's a short walk to the beach, and only a couple blocks away from delicious restaurants and shopping. We would stay there again in a heart beat! Thanks Monica & family!!!

Very good property

This is a very good property in a great location. The living area is huge with two living areas plus the dining room and an office. The third floor attic is best for kids. Fortunately it has window type air conditioners as the second and third floor would get too hot for sleeping in 80 plus degree weather. Great porch!
