Welcome to your North Georgia mountain retreat! This 4 bedroom, 3 bath cabin nestled in the private Walnut Mountain community offers solitude, seasonal mountain views, hot tub, game room, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, community pool, 4 private lakes (one which is 200 yards away), and hiking trails in the heart of the North Georgia mountains. The property is just 10 minutes from downtown Ellijay, 20 minutes from Blue Ridge, and close to all the activities the area has to offer


Ellijay and Blue Ridge Adventures:

Hiking: Explore the stunning trails of the Chattahoochee National Forest, Appalachian Trail & the Benton MacKaye Trail. Trails like Amicalola Falls State Park and the Aska Adventure Area offer breathtaking views and serene nature walks.

Water Activities: Enjoy tubing on the Toccoa River or Lake Blue Ridge for boating, paddleboarding, and swimming.

Nice location and neighborhood. Host was very responsive. The property was not well cleaned. Dog poop in upstairs bathroom, trash in yard, dirty table, human hair in bed and in multiple places throughout, dog food on upstairs floor, patio furniture too dirty to use with tons of spiderwebs throughout patio.

Not the best experience

There is so much. We arrived at the property around 5:40 pm on May 23rd. The cabin was beautiful just had several issue with cleanliness. First we decided to check out the hot tub since it was one of the main reason we chose this cabin. We discovered that the hot tub water was dirty and the head rest had mold on them. Since we couldn’t get in the hot tub we decided to eat and have family time after our 2 hr and half drive. Later that night round 10:30 pm it was time to get some rest. My father went to use the jacuzzi tub and saw that all of the jets was dirty. He attempted to clean them but even when he ran the water dirt was still coming out in his water. Then I went upstairs to take a shower, only to see that my shower had hair everywhere in it. I wiped it out as much as I could. I still stood on a towel as I showered due to all the hair I was seeing. At this point I was a little frustrated but I was tired. I went to lay in my bed, as I pulled back the sheets I saw strands of hair all in the bed. Now I decided to inspect the bed only to see that the cover, top sheet, fitted sheet and pillows had hair all over them. We inspected the other beds to find that the other 4 beds also had strands of hair, stains, food crumbs and 2 beds had dried blood stains on cover, top sheet, fitted sheet and pillows. This doesn’t have enough space to tell the whole story on how the host acted or even put all the pictures. Don’t waste your time

Great House!...with some small issues

The location of the cabin was really amazing! The views were unmatched and the old cabin aesthetic was great! We had a really nice stay BUTThe cabin was just not very clean at all. Everything that we pulled out of the cabinets or drawers needed to be cleaned again. There was mold growing in the coffee maker with burned coffee in the bottom of the pot. The carpets were not clean at all. The house looks like it had not been cleaned in months. There was scum in the upstairs toilet bowl and the hottub had soap scum all over the inside. The cleaning service needs to be upgraded very quickly. The deck is also rotting so badly that when we went to sit in one of the chairs the leg fell through the deck under the rug by the outdoor table. This house needs some TLC for us to be back to rent again

Was a very beautiful cabin, a little confusing with check in every thing was really nice. Game pieces not all there was looking forward to playing some games. Power went out in basement but was pretty quick to respond and had someone come out and take care of i it pretty quickly andtake it

Yoga Pals Glamping

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The cabin was comfortable and had most everything we needed. It is convenient to town for grocery shopping. We enthusiastically give it a 5/5 Excellent rating. We only had a little feedback but nothing that would lower the rating. I felt the hot tub water could be changed/cleaned. The leaves had just started falling so there was probably a little debris in there from that. We couldn’t find any dishwasher soap so we hand washed everything. No big deal. There was a Keurig but we would have liked a traditional coffee maker. Again, no big deal. We ALL felt this was one of our better VRBO experiences. 5/5 EXCELLENT. We would stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for the activities we had planned while there. Reggie was an excellent host, very quick with his responses and patient with my many questions and concerns. Our only complaint was we didn't realize the cabin was three level and we prefer one level cabins, but overall everything was fine. Thank you!!!
